The director of Homeland Security and the bumbling idiot Obama calls a press secretary made such a mess out of things that they are a laughing stock now with their pathetic spin attempts. “The system worked” says Janet Napolitano. Say what? Nothing worked!

Dr. Roy Spencer and other leading climate scientists (“‘Cap and Trade’ or ‘Cap and Tax,’” American Commentaries, 6/28/09) must feel vindicated at the news revealing that a group of scientists in England and America conspired to manufacture “global warming” as a world wide menace. Unfortunately for the “good” climate scientists, climate science died at East [...]

Judas sold out his Savior for thirty pieces of silver. Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska has sold out America in a similar manner. I say similar, as there are differences between the two. Judas did it for greed. There were no principles involved, he just wanted the money and Christ paid the price for it. Isn’t it ironic that a piece of legislation, literally abhorred by most Americans, should come one step closer to being on the anniversary of the birth of Judas’ victim.
Nelson exposed himself as nothing more than liar. Over the past week he has steadfastly refused to vote for the healthcare abomination out of principle. He said he was pro-life and wanted absolute assurance that no federal monies would pay for elective abortion. He hammered this point home in congress, in the press, in his interviews. But in the end, he gave in, he did not get the assurances and changes in wording for which he seemed so ardently desperate. Instead, he got his thirty pieces of silver.
It will go down in congressional history as the “cornhusker kick back”, What Senator Nelson got for his vote was a guarantee that beginning in 2016 (which happens to be a presidential election year) his state would receive free Medicaid support funding in perpetuity. Think about this, in perpetuity! No other state has a deal like this. Nelson thinks he is buying his own perpetuity in the senate by getting this budget busting ( but, who cares about that anymore under Obama) congressional largess but he is sadly mistaken. He sold out his ideals to satisfy the whim of Harry Reid and neither of them will be re-elected. Thankfully, Reid will be the first to go as he is up for re-election in 2010. There are already twelve people who have announced they will run against him and he is behind in the polls by double digits, he is that popular in Nevada.
When it becomes Nelson’s turn, the pro-lifers, the conservatives and even centrist democrats will hammer him. He can kiss his seat goodbye. But it matters not to him as his fat pension and healthcare are guaranteed for life. This is the case with all the senate democrats. They care not a wit for what their constituents want, they care only for the power, prestige and pension of the their current positions. When they lose their next election, or chose not to suffer the inevitable embarrassing defeats at the polls, they can slink away like the scurrilous rats they are, and laugh all the way to the bank.
Realizing he will lose most of his base in the next election, Obama is offering deals to those congressmen and women who are announcing they will “retire”. If they agree to run, and they lose as expected. Obama is guaranteeing them fat jobs in his administration!
Socialism in action my friends.

For those that have an unlimited income stream, this will have little or no meaning. But most of us have finite resources and over the past year have watched as those resources have declined. Our solutions to our personal problems were quite simple; we pulled in our belts, sucked it up and did without a [...]

Looking at the years 2013 through 2019, the focus of the health bills in Congress, the situation for Medicare recipients looks dim. Under Title III, Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Health Care, the Democrat controlled Senate has reduced funding by $3.4 billion in three areas: Physician Quality reporting Initiative, Expansion of the Physician Feedback [...]

It has become so apparent that no bill will pass with the so-called “public option” that the democrats will try anything to hoodwink the public to get their poll numbers up. Now, over sixty percent of America is against this socialist attempt to take over the medical and insurance industry in America. Obama’s ratings are [...]

All of the Republican candidates for the House seat in Congressional District 8 have, at one time or another, addressed the Saddlebrooke Republican Club, the largest Republican club in Arizona. All of them have professed to support limited government, strong national defense, etc., but not one has had to answer tough questions. Despite announcing their [...]

The unemployment rate dropped by two tenths of one percent and President Obama claimed victory. This shows just how clueless he is when it concerns his understanding of basic economics. Add to the mix that 300,000 people just stopped looking for work and the two tenths of one per cent drop becomes a rounding error. [...]
