Taxes are the peoples’ money, not the government’s money. Tax cuts do not need to “be paid for” as they are a savings to the tax payer. On the contrary, government spending must “be paid for.”

It is simply breath-taking to compare the response of Barak Obama to Haiti against his response in the gulf. It appears that Mr. Obama’s slow-motion response is pre-meditated: he wants major damage in the gulf to support passage of his “cap and trade” legislation.

Dennis Blair, Director of National Intelligence resigned under pressure effective May 28th. President Obama has known for some time he was going to remove Blair. It is becoming apparent that Congressman Sestak was offered the position of National Intelligence Director. This position is high-ranking and compensated.
