President Obama is raising federal income tax rates in 2011: 10% to 15% 25% to 28% 28% to 31% 33% to 36% 35% to 39.6% Mr. Obama said no one making less than $250,000 annually will receive a tax increase. Why, then, did the lowest tax bracket increase by 50%?

Cheryl Cage has been issuing questionable press releases attacking her opponent, Senator Al Melvin, with manufactured and unsupported charges. She is entitled to her own opinion but not to her own facts.

Giffords stated the Act “will provide security for seniors, guarantee access to health insurance coverage for the uninsured and make health care affordable for the middle class . . .” and that the Act will “[i]mprove Medicare for 135,000 beneficiaries . . .” What Giffords did not tell her constituents is 279,833 Arizona seniors will lose their Medicare Advantage coverage because Giffords voted to gut Medicare funding by $500 billion. Giffords cannot gut Medicare and simultaneously improve it.

The #1 person on the inevitable demand by critics for someone to be fired according to Ms. Marcus would be Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Homeland Security. Her now famous comment that “the system worked” regarding the Christmas Day bomber…she should be fired, along with others involved who clearly were not up to the security assignment given them by the president.
